If you go to prison in Norway what kind of inmates will you meet there? Let's find out.[1] Actually, it depends a lot on where you do time. If you do time in the Oslo area you can expect up to 90% Muslim/African prisoners. If you serve in the extreme north you can expect fewer. If you serve in south or west you can expect fewer but still a very large percentage of Muslims/Africans. I remember in 1993 I was driven by the police from the courthouse to the prison to the jail in Oslo and and they were shaking their heads in despair really and they told me that most of the crime, at least 60% of the crime in Oslo was performed by non Norwegians and[2] they were not allowed to tell the media because if they did they would get fired because this was supposed to be a secret that our new citizens were not very lawful and didn't actually fit very well in.[3] And this was in 1993. A lot has happened since then. A lot more immigrants have come to Norway and yeah, I guess the situation is even worse today.[4][5] Since 1993 and onwards you also saw an increased percentage of Eastern Europeans and South Europeans and by South Europeans, I don't mean Italians and Spanish people or Greeks. I mean ex-Yugoslavs and Albanians, in particular Albanians.[6] When it comes to the Norwegians in the prison system in Norway, the vast majority are so-called junkies. You also have a fairly small percentage of perfectly normal people who just happen to[7] get caught for something that they did sometimes by accident. For example, if they hit somebody with their car and killed him, they would go to jail in Norway. Perfectly normal people otherwise. And you also have a very small percentage of actual criminals in the traditional sense. That would be like bank robbers and such extortionists, and forgers, and so forth. Very small percentage. Most of the people Norwegians in the prison system are junkies.[8] When it comes to the Muslim/African inmates in the prison system in Norway, a very large percentage of them are there for rape. A large percentage of them are also there for violence, and a[9] large percentage is also there for drug dealing. When it comes to South Europeans, the majority of them are in there for drug dealing. In the case of Albanians or Kosovo Albanians, it's usually very hard drugs they're in for.[10][11] When it comes to the standard of the prisons, you have everything from old-school prison, Philadelphia style, to modern so-called hotel prisons. And as I've said before, the inmates prefer to stay in the old prisons most of the time. And the suicide rates are vastly higher in the so-called hotel prisons.[12][13][14] I went to prison in 1993, and as the years passed by, I saw more and more Muslims, I saw more and more Eastern Europeans, and I saw more and more Southern Europeans, and more and more Africans. I guess that's the fruit of multiculturalism.[15][16]
  1. Prison Anecdotes (Rape & Violence)
  2. At the time Oslo was still a mostly Norwegian town.
  3. Into this "open" and "free" society.
  4. When I was in Ullersmo Prison (in 1997) outside of Oslo, 93% of the inmates did not have Norwegian grandparents (so to speak).
  5. When i was in Oslo jail (in 1993), about 80% of the inmates did not have Norwegian grandparents.
  6. By Eastern European I mean mainly Polish and Baltic. I met only 2 Russians (one of them a Ukrainian citizen) during my almost 16 years in prison.
  7. Last time I checked (I think in 2008) there were IN ALL about
    3 500 prisoners in Norway.
  8. They tend to be burglars though. Because they need money for drugs. Not as an occupation.
  9. Very few Norwegians with Norwegian grandparents are in for rape.
  10. Contrary to popular belief, MOST of the VIOLENCE committed by Muslims/Africans is agains OTHER Muslims/Africans.
  11. Eastern Europeans are most often in for ordinary crime (bank robberies, burglary, smugglings), but also for drug trafficking.
  12. The prisons I did time in (from 1993 to 2009):
    • Oslo jail

    • Bergen Prison

    • Ila Prison

    • Ullersmo Prison

    • Trondheim Jail

    • Bergen Prison (again)

    • Trondheim Jail (again)

    • Berg Open Prison

    • Ringerike Prison

    • Trondheim Jail (again)

    • Tromsø Prison
  13. I did not see or even hear of a single rape during my stay in prison. So I would argue that as a general rule nobody is raped in Norwegian prisons.
  14. There was some (some times a lot) of non-sexual violence there though. Including by prison employees against prisoners.
  15. The official statistics for inmates in Norway look different than what I say here, because they have given a Norwegian citizenship to so many of the immigrants, and therefore define them as "Norwegians".
  16. They twist and turn information as they please. In reality mass immigration and freedom of movement between the countries is and has OF COURSE always been a DISASTER.
