♫ Would I lie to you, baby? Would I lie to you? ♫ Let's find out.[1] Whenever I say something, there is always someone who comments in the comment section and who thinks he knows better than me. In many cases they do. Like, you know, the way I sharpened the chain on my chainsaw, didn't do it right and many people commented and that's excellent and now I do know. But when I say that I never listened to Venom and I have comments claiming that "yes you did", that's pretty lame isn't it? Why would I lie about that? It's just so[2] incredibly stupid. And then, incredibly, when I said, you know, the first line on the "War" track that which is not really part of the lyrics was just an introduction to the song and I say
This is war. Don't you... wouldn't you be surprised that some people claim that I made that up now that I'm a revisionist and I'm just trying to change history because that's not really what I said. Again, why would I lie about that? It's an introduction to the song "War". This[3] is war, huh, wow. Why would I lie? Please tell me.[4] So they know better than me what bands I used to listen to. They know better than me what I say on my own records. They know better than me about how I[5] make a living. They know better than me if I work or not. And when I explain to them that, you know, I work as a musician and a writer, then they still think I don't work because "artists don't work". Well, brilliant. I don't think they have ever seen the amount of work artists actually[6] do. So to wrap this up, feel free to comment on my videos, but if you plan to, you know,[7] be a moron, then please do that on your own channel.[8]
Huh, wow!
- Anti-Idiot RANT by V.V.
- So I can tell you that I liked e.g. Boney-M's "Daddy Cool" when I was a kid,
but I wish somehow "hide" the fact that I liked Venom? Really? - The idea behind the line was to make fun of rock artists who think they are so
cool on stage, when they introduce their tracks. It was done for laughs. - BTW: The track "War" was made as a tribute to Bathory, and was therefore
made to sound like Bathory. It's NOT a cover track though.
It just sounds like Bathory. - They also seem to think they know better than me about the history
of Black Metal in Norway 1991-1993. I guess they were there? Unlike me? - Quote: "There is no way you make a living from only Burzum and MYFAROG".
And how would you know that? - Feel free to correct me too, when I am wrong. It's great if you do.
- Thank you for watching.
