DescriptionIt's time for a RANT here on TP...

If you're a regular viewer please DON'T try to become a Patreon supporter for as little as $1 per video because they are of course free for me to make, and I don't even have a Patreon account. I have NO EXPENSES when I make these videos. I only invest my time in them, and my love for my heritage of course. And I do so with pleasure. Trying to save our heritage is my objective, not to make money by pretending to do so.

There are some things in life that I don't understand. Today we're going to talk about one of them, or a few of them actually. And what is it I don't understand? Let's find out. I really don't understand why movie makers completely ignore the laws of physics. And I don't understand why their audiences seem to appreciate this. For example, The Hobbit. You have the entire party falling down from a trap. And with the most basic knowledge of physics, you can tell that not one of them would have survived that fall. And yet, not one of them is even injured. They don't even seem to have like a simple bruise, anything. You have towers falling over and then they are being used as bridges. You have barrels in water. Not tipping over. I mean, why is that entertaining to anybody? I don't get it. Likewise, why do they make, you know, an entire army forging armor, putting helmets on, breast plates, screaming of course. And then when these Uruk-hai enter battle, their armor, you know, can't stop a hobbit[1] sword, nothing. It is as if they had no armor whatsoever. They're just being cut down with a slash on the breast plate and they die. Again, why is this entertaining to people?[2] When I see these movies, I'm not entertained. I'm pissed. I'm pissed at the movie makers and I'm pissed at people for not giving these movies the poorest rating you can possibly give, because they suck. Yeah, it's fantasy, but the rules of gravity, they're no different in Middle Earth. The rules of physics, they're the same. Metal works in the same manner. Armor works in the same manner and so forth. So I was just going to say, you know, fuck you to the movie makers and fuck you to all those who review those movies without making a point of the fact that they suck. Thanks for watching.[3][4][5][6][7]
  1. assaulting a fortress armed with PIKES
  2. Just throw a pebble at him, hit his breastplate, and he will fall over dead, because he is "evil".
  3. Would these movies have been LESS entertaining if the makers had NOT ignored the laws of physics? I don't think so.
  4. Is it IMPOSSIBLE for movie makers to make armour seem to work like it would in real life? I don't think so.
  5. Would it be impossible to make a movie that you can watch without having to endure ignorant crap like that? I don't think so.
  6. If you dislike ignorant crap in movies, please press "like". If you think ignorant crap in movies is just fine, please press "dislike".
  7. Thank you for watching this rant.
