Most of you are here for music, and I get so many questions about this or that band, and I have no idea who these bands are and never heard them. And even the bands I have heard, I don't really know what, you know, their different tracks are called or anything. I think yesterday's videos proved that when I managed to list "For Whom the Bell Tolls" as one of my favourite Iron Maiden tracks.[1] And the weird thing is, I don't even like "For Whom the Bell Tolls". It's a Metallica track. And the correct Iron Maiden track is, of course, "Hallowed Be Thy Name". That was the track I was talking about. But I'm hopeless when it comes to these things. I don't pay any attention to it. And for example, I like Russian band called Kino. Like four or five tracks of that, of that band. That's it. I have no idea what the tracks are called, except I know one track, "Gruppa Krovi", right. None of the others. And my favourite, The Cure album, is Disintegration. I have no idea what the tracks there are called. I like mostly track 5 and track 9. That's good enough for me. I don't pay attention to these things. And 99% of the time, I have never heard of the bands that you guys ask me about. And I don't really want to either. I have the music I like in my life already. I don't really care what the tracks are called or who's playing this or that instrument and this or that band or even, you know, what the band is called. I don't care. Music, to me is music. It's not the people who play it or what they call it or what kind of style it is or anything. I don't care. Let's just say that my thoughts are elsewhere. Anyhow. Sorry about confusing you with the calling Iron Maiden track by a Metallica name. And, yeah, I don't even like Metallica. I like Iron Maiden, though. Not just that song, but a lot of their songs, and in particular, Somewhere in Time, the album. And on the second place, I'd say the Seventh Son of a Seventh Son. And the earlier albums... I like a track here or there, but, you know, that's it. And my lack of interest in new music, it's not that I'm narrow minded as such. It's just that some people like a broad spectrum of things and others like to, you know, concentrate on the small things. If you have a big tree, some people like the tree, some people like the forest the tree grows in. Some people just like a single branch, maybe, you know, a single leaf, and that's okay. And I'm like that. I like a leaf. Or I like some leaves, if you want to be more specific. And I don't care what the leaf Is called what name it has, or if it's similar to other leaves. You know, I like that leaf, and I don't care what it's called. I'm enjoying that leaf. And therefore, I can also add that people ask me "Oh, you like other genres?" Well, I don't like genres. I don't like this genre or that genre. I don't even like this band or that band. I like this album or that album, or maybe a few tracks on that album by some band, you know, and I don't know what kind of genre it belongs to, and I don't care, and I will never spend time finding out. Doesn't matter. There are some entire genres, though, that I really, really dislike. Never liked any rock music. And if you try to play rap music to me, or reggae... So in any case, keep enjoying the music if you like. Keep enjoying individual leafs. If you like branches, entire trees, or entire forests, it's okay. But don't expect me to be exactly like you. Thanks for watching.
