Playing the riffs from "Belus' Død". NB! Remember that I have no Facebook, vKontakte, MySpace, Twitter or LinkedIn accounds, or anything like that. Anybody claiming to be me there are frauds. "Belus' Død" is the original version of the track elsewhere called "Dauði Baldrs". "Dauði Baldrs" was in other words made as a metal track, but was first recorded as an ambient track and then again as a metal track here on the "Belus' album, and under another title ("Belus Død"). The metal version is different from the ambient version, but the basic riffs are the same. The riffs were made some time in the early 1990ies, but were not recorded as a track until much later. "Belus" is a PIE reconstruction of the European solar deity's Scandinavian name, Baldr. Baldr (from proto-Nordic *BalðuR, from proto-Germanic *Balþuz/*Balluz) is also known as Bragi (PN *Bragan) and in other European mythologies as Apollon, Belenus, Byelobog etc. The Death of Belus is not his end, but a new beginning. There is no "end" in the European mythologies only new beginnings. Rangnarök is the death of the deities, but also their re-birth. Ragnarök: the cleansing fire, that removes all shadows and restores the innocence of our world. Heill Óðinn!
