| Description | Playing the end of 'Turn the Sign of the Microcosm' (Snu Mikrokosmos' Tegn), one of my favourite Burzum parts, and one of the songs I often played on my guitar. I like the eerie feel, the odd chorus, the monotomy. The feel of it all. It was very a-typical metal music. And I liked that too. Turn the Sign of the Microcosm was inspired by nocturnal walks in the rain, void of any real danger, by role-playing (MERP) and by loneliness; surrounded by friends, but more lonely than ever -- as we so often feel.
