Science. Can we trust it these days? Let's find out. There's nothing wrong with the scientific method, but the fact is that this scientific method can be misused, and intentionally misinterpreted, and intentionally misrepresented, and so forth. And I am of the opinion that this is, to a very large degree, used today, and this has replaced the role of religion in this context. Before, the priest could just say, deus vult, and you had to do it, or it says so in the bible, right? So you had to do it. And today, they can't really do that, because we have looked through that scam. But what they do instead today is to say that it's scientifically proven. And when you say that, when somebody says that, it automatically disarms all dissent, all opposition to that idea. But it's scientifically proven, right?[1][2] The other day, my wife read about a scientific report claiming that there was a correlation between watching TV a lot, and driving a car a lot, and having low IQ.[3] And the researchers concluded that people who watch a lot of TV have some sort of reduced brain function, because they are just passively watching the TV, and they came up with all sorts of explanations for this. But I would argue that the obvious reason for this result is that people who are not very smart watch a lot of TV. And people who are not very educated, not very smart, tend to have jobs involving a lot of driving, like bus drivers, taxi drivers.[4][5][6][7][8][9] The possibly biggest problem with science today, compared to science before, is that today scientists are funded by others. In the past, the pioneers in science were nobles who funded themselves. So they had no reason to fabricate results or to falsify anything. Scientists today, however, they have a lot of reasons to do so. They are completely dependent on the funds they get, and if they don't produce the results these people want, people who fund them, they won't get any funds.[10] And the scientists, they might have families to feed, right? So they really have to produce the results these people want, and therefore they do. And when it comes to peer reviews and all that, it's the same thing. And the fact that you can pretty much find scientific evidence to prove almost anything, proves my point.[11][12] In the end, I can say that the scientific method is not a modern thing. It's not even a historical thing, it's a prehistoric thing. This is what our forebears did as well. The so-called sorcerers of the past were doing just that. They were studying things, they were trying out things, and they were collecting evidence to find the truth. So, it's nothing new, and it's nothing bad, but unfortunately today it's being misused, and it has been corrupted, and we need to be skeptical. Thanks for watching.
- To those who believe in Moon rocks, or that Man walked on the Moon or robots on Mars, I can ask you a few simple questions, before you start to ridicule and attack me: do you know if these rocks really.come from the Moon?
- Do you know that man walked on the Moon or robots have been on Mars? Or do you just trust that the evidence some scientists have provided to us about this is real? If so, what is the difference from this faith and the faith your forebears had in angels, miracles and "God"?
- Their CONCLUSION was that they were dumb BECAUSE they watched so
much TV and drove car so much. - To most people SCIENCE is just a new type of FAITH.
- Big Bang = God's Creation
Evolution = The 7 days of Creation
Moon rocks = Religious Relics (a piece of some Saint or even of Jesus himself)
Man/robots on the Moon/Mars! = Miracles! - Scientifically proven= God wills it' (Deus vult) or simply"it's in the bible"
Diploma = Decree from the Pope
Nobel prize winners = Saints
Layman = Heretic
Lectures = Mass - Scientist = Priest
Albert Einstein = Jesus/God
Dissident (alias a person questioning the official theories) = Infidel
Disbeliever = possessed by the devil
The average man in the street = believer - BTW: Einstein never took an IQ test, so when people claim he had this or that IQ they are telling you false rumours.
- Oh, and please Google "Einstein was a fraud".
- Using "science" has become a major part of public relations and fighting
competitors on the market. - What most people think they see.
- What they actually see.
