When I went to school, I was told about how the evil Nazis bombed London. This was known as The Blitz! About 43.000 civilians were killed by the Luftwaffe, between September 1940 and May 1941. WHY!??! WHY GERMANY!?? WHY YOU EVIL NAZIS?! Yes, let's find out why.

Initially (1939), encouraged by the US president, the UK and France agreed not to target civilians. Then in May 1940 they abandoned this idea, and bombed civilian targets in the Ruhr valley in Germany. They did because in May Churchill replaced Chamberlain, and he apparently had no qualms about killing civilians. Berlin itself was first bombed in June 1940. Civilian homes were intentionally targeted. The Blitz started in September 1940. So the Western Allies actually bombed civilians in Germany for 4-5 months (!) before the Germans even retaliated, and started to do the same to them? WTF!? Why didn't they, tell me THAT in school? Churchill's idiotic crimes lead to 43.000 civilians in London losing their lives.

But what about Germany? When did the Western Allied bombers stop to intentionally target civilians homes in Germany? They stopped in May 1945. When the war stopped. By then several MILLION German civilians had been killed, most of them women and children.
