Jon of Dissection. Did I even meet the guy? Let's find out. One time in 1992, I was in Sweden with someone else. And we drove back home to Norway via Strömstad, where Jon lived. And the guy who was with me knew Jon. And I wanted to drop by him to say hello. And we did. And when Jon found out that we were going to Norway, he wanted to accompany us. In Norway, we drove by Oslo. So we dropped by Helvete. When we were in the Helvete, the shop, Jon showed me a riff, and it was almost identical to one of the riffs on one of the tracks of Hvis Lyset Tar Oss. And it was a very strange coincidence, because he hadn't heard the album. I had already recorded it. And yet he had made a riff that was almost exactly the same. So we found that a little bit funny. And then I went home to Bergen. I don't really remember if he took the train home or if he stayed there or whatever. I don't remember. But I drove, continued on to Bergen, my destination,^[1] and that was it. I never corresponded with him. I never had anything to do with him. other than that. When it comes to their Dissection in music, I have not heard it. Except that one riff. But I don't really know if they used that or not, probably didn't, because I had already recorded the same riff almost. So I don't know the band. And as you know, I'm a little bit conservative. I have already what I like in my life.^[2] I don't want anything new. So I'm not really interested^[3] either. I have not heard it, and I'm not going to. Jon seemed like a nice guy. Only met him once. Didn't really talk a lot to him. And I've never heard a session. And I am not going to. I'm happy as I am with the music I already have. Thank you for watching
