As it happens, my grandfather on my father's side was born in Skjeberg, and so where his father, my great grandfather. His wife, my great grandmother, on the other hand came from Gilbärja Sogn in Sweden. When she was lying in bed, dying from old age, a preacher came to their door, and wanted to talk to her. She told him that she had no interest in talking to him, and that he should get a real job and go home to his own family instead... Ah, the reckoning of Varg... The petroglyph is from the agricultural period, i. e. the late Neolithic Age or the Bronze Age, so it is between 2600 to 6500 years old. |
