Good day, little hobbits. Why do you think we sorcerers wear such stylish headgear? Let's find out. In this fantastic role playing game book I explain to you that they wear it because they want to make the spirits believe that they are one of them. To be enable them to manipulate them. It's part of a masquerade. But this is not entirely correct. And this little book here isn't much help at all to explain why. But you get a little hint in this book where it says that in order to become a sorcerer/wizard you have to be marked. And in this game that is a blessing. You have to have a mark that shows that you can become a sorcerer. And such a mark can be something you gain in life. A scar, maybe a disability, even. Maybe you get a limp. And if you do, this marks you as chosen by the deities to become a wizard. But some are born with this mark. And the ultimate mark to show that you have been chosen by the gods to become a sorcerer/wizard is if you are born with the amniotic bag intact. And if you are, you come out with a strange shape on your head. Much like the Phrygian cap.[1] Which, by the way, was worn for that purpose as well. And this Phrygian cap, the amniotic bag that you are born with. If you are born with the amniotic bag intact is shaped like a very strange hat. And therefore, to show that you are marked, to show that you were born with the amniotic bag intact. And that you are indeed a sorcerer, you wear a hat much like this one. So the sorcerer carries the stave or the wand because he has the power of the magic in the umbilical cord, the stem cells. He wears white robes because he's a midwife of the mind. And he carries this sack because he's marked and chosen for his task. Not just anyone can become a sorcerer. You have to have a mark.
  1. That is, the bag takes the shape of a Phrygian cap.
