Playing all the riffs from "En Ring til å herske". "En Ring til å herske" translates as "One Ring to rule (them all)".

A "spell" riff, intended to lift you up and take you into another state of mid. Acoustic playing, for a metal track.

Having a perfect chorus is nice, but I think it's the imperfections that make the chorus sound real, alive, honest and "truly meant". Then it feels more like it is made by someone why cares, not by someone who gets paid to do it. I don't really remember this riff, but I think it's played like this. Only on a higher note, most likely. Yes, more acoustic playing for a metal track.

Notice how "The Decline of the West", by O.Spengler has slipped further down the folder here, during this recording. It is in a sense "declining".

Have you noticed that the least "technical" Burzum tracks, are often the most atmospheric?

Had I recorded this in a studio, and a car had driven by like here... I would have kept the recording.

Some times "chance" aids you when you make something. Like chance made me pick up the guitar in the first place. Destiny makes us into what we are. Your past lives (i.e. your blood) shapes you. Like it will shape your children, and thus also the future you.

"En Ring til å herske" can be found on the "Det som engang var" album.
