Greetings fellow adventurers. Why do you think we wizards carry a staff? Let's find out. Sorcerers, [inaudible], wizards, whatever you call it. In all role playing games, in fairy tales, in mythology, in stories, they carry staffs. But there is never really an explanation to why they do so. So in this video, I'm going to explain this to you in detail. The use of the staff by sorcerers and such can be traced back to our pre-christian heritage. At the root of this lies the concept of sympathetic magic. That is, if you represent something, you become what you represent. So if you, for example, impersonate a deity, you gain the powers of that deity, you become the deity. There is true magic in this world. You have music, but you also have women being able to reproduce and to give birth to healthy children. And when they do, the child comes with his twin, that is the placenta. And this twin is connected to the child via the umbilical cord. And as you know, you have to cut the umbilical cord for the child to survive. And aside from music and the ability of women to give birth to healthy children, you have magic in the umbilical cord itself. And they used this umbilical cord in the past and they cut it from not only from the child, but also from the placenta itself. But as I told you when I talked about sympathetic magic, what looks like something, gains that power. And the placenta looks like a tree. And the umbilical cord is a little branch growing from that tree. And in the umbilical cord there is true magic. Stem cells with the ability to create any type of cells in the human body. It is truly magical. And because a placenta looks like a tree, the tree has the powers of the placenta. Because if you cut the umbilical cord from the placenta, and you gain the ability to practice magic, you will also gain that ability if you cut a branch from the tree that looks like a placenta. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the reason why sorcerers have staffs or wands. Because they cut this from a sacred tree. And because this staff symbolizes the umbilical cord, it gains its powers. And when you know this, you can better understand mythology and our fairy tales and so forth. And if you want to know more, there is a lot about this in these books. My role playing game. But if you're not interested in role playing games at all, you can read this book instead, which, incidentally, is the book that I have used as this main source for that particular information in my role playing game. Now, if you will excuse me, I have to go.
