As you should know by now, modern agriculture is not sustainable. If we continue using modern agriculture, we are going to turn our planet into one big desert. So, what can we do? How can we live sustainable lives? Let's find out. This video is not going to be about my roleplaying game whatsoever really, but I'm going to use it to make a point. If you buy this roleplaying game, you will see that it is printed nearby where you live. This one is printed in Greit-Britän. If you live in Poland, it's going to be printed in Poland. If you live in Germany, it's going to be printed in Germany. If you live in the USA, on the West Coast, it's going to be printed on the West Coast. If you live in the USA, on the East Coast, it's probably going to be printed on the East Coast. And this is a very good thing, because you need to produce everything today locally. If you don't, you're going to completely ruin this planet as a planet able to sustain human life. The planet will be fine, you know, no matter what we do, but we won't. And yesterday I talked about veganism and explained how that if you live on a vegan diet during winter, you import a lot of vegan food from the other side of the planet. And when you do, you pollute a lot. I'm going to show you now how much fuel you need for one plane trip. And yes, I know, most of the food is brought by container ships. So, I'm going to show you just how polluting container ships are too. Look at this.[1][2][3][4][5] So as you can see, the 15 biggest container ships in the world alone pollute more than all the 760 million cars do put together. 15 ships pollute more than all cars in this world put together. And this is of course an argument against not just the vegans, because people import a lot of meat too. And not least, they import a lot of made in China crap that they don't need. And I am arguing against that too, of course. As I said in my video about veganism, you have to produce everything locally. And a lot of people argue that, well, we can produce grain and potatoes here in Europe, and we can store that for the winter. Sure. But you can't produce grain in a big scale, without oil. You can't produce it without modern agriculture. And there you are, then you can't produce it. And then you can't have a sustainable society if you produce grain. Simple as that. Also, in order to have a complete protein, you vegans need not just to eat grain, but you also need to supplement with lenses.[6] Or soy, and to a lesser degree, beans. Beans don't really produce a complete protein. And lenses. Are you aware of how many hectares of earth you need to produce these lenses? I can add that we have a permaculture garden, and we try to heal this former modern agricultural landscape, because it's completely ruined.[7] And we use the lenses. We have planted a lot of lenses too. And we do it not because we want to get any food from it, we don't. We will have to cover the entire property just to get a significant amount of lenses. So we have lenses, and we have it to cover the soil, so that the sun doesn't vaporize all the humidity from the soil. And we have it also to heal the ground, because when not used in monoculture, lenses heal the soil. In monoculture, all plants, no matter what you plant, is just destroying the soil. And we're going to take a big jump in relation to IQ, because vegans argue that the vegan diet is complete and so forth. But if you look at nature, all the intelligent animals are meat eaters. And the dumb, like sheep and cows, they are not meat eaters. And evolution argues that, evolution theory says that we are intelligent because we started to eat meat, and got a lot of amino acids and such for our brains, and sufficient amounts for meat to develop our brains and become really smart. Though I would argue that modern human beings, not really smart. But that's another topic. And then you have the vegans who claim that we can perfectly well survive on a vegan diet, even in Europe. And, okay, we can survive on a really poor diet, if we have reserves. But are you going to just barely survive, or are you going to, you know, thrive as human beings? In relation to animals and fodder, some people argue that if we ate the grain and such that we feed the animals with, we would have a lot more food than we get from our animals. But this is not true, because the grain we give to animals is of so pure quality that it is not good as food for human beings. And also, we can't eat all the plants that the animals eat. And animals are important for the entire ecosystem, including plants. And when they eat plants and they crap on the ground, this is a part of the process. So we need animals, the more the merrier really. And so, no, we can't eat the food that we give to animals. It's not human food, it's food for animals. And as you see, in order to be a vegan you need monoculture. And no matter what type of monoculture you have, it's destructive. It's depleting our soil, it's turning our planet into one big desert.[8] Now if you compare that to permaculture, which is food production on a local scale, that is not good for harvesting to a lot of people, because you mix all the plants.[9] Okay, I continue to the next point. Greenhouses. We can produce food during winter locally using greenhouses, some vegans say. Well, in a sense that is correct, you can produce food locally here in Europe using greenhouses. But how do you heat those greenhouses? And you have to heat them during winter in order to produce food. Yeah, nuclear power, coal or oil. And even to make nuclear power you need oil, so no, it's not sustainable. All types of modern agriculture is just a transaction really, from oil to food. And the amount of oil you need to produce food using modern agriculture, monoculture, is just insane.[10] And I saw a video with a permaculturist who complained that wild boars were eating his beans, so they didn't have any harvest. And in order to avoid that these wild boars were destroying his vegetable gardens and eating his vegetables, he built a fence. Now, if he had been a little bit smarter, he would instead eat the wild boar, and thus keep both his vegetables and supplement with good meat.[11][12] So the conclusion here is, nope, we can't be vegan without monoculture, and monoculture is destroying our planet as a place for us to live. The only solution is for us to get rid of all modern agriculture and to start producing our own food locally using permaculture. And you can always argue[13] that you can't do this to feed the masses, there's not enough land for all and so forth. Perhaps you're right, we will have a changeover period, and we will probably see a dramatic reduction of mankind in numbers. And that is a good thing.[14] When it comes to human beings, quantity is not good, especially when human beings themselves are the worst in relation to nature and natural destruction. What we need is quality. Thanks for watching. Bye bye.
- The Boeing 747 burns approximately 10 to 11 tonnes of fuel an hour when in the cruise. This equates to roughly 1 gallon (approximately 4 litres) of fuel every second It can carry up to 238,604 litres of fuel. It has a range of about 7,790 nautical miles.
- A jumbo jet (Boeing 747-400) flying from London to New York burns approximately 70,000 kilograms of fuel. Jet fuel has an approximate specific gravity of 0.85, which therefore equates to 82,353 litres.
- In one year, a single large container ship can emit cancer and asthma-causing pollutants equivalent to that of 50 million cars. The low grade bunker fuel used by the worlds 90,000 cargo ships contains up to 2,000 times the amount of sulfur compared to diesel fuel used in automobiles.
- Shipping is by far the biggest transport polluter in the world. There are 760 million cars in the world today emitting approx 78,599 tons of Sulphur Oxides (SOx) annually. The world's 90,000 vessels burn approx 370 million tons of fuel per year emitting 20 million tons of Sulphur Oxides.
- That equates to 260 times more Sulphur Oxides being emitted by ships than the worlds entire car fleet. One large ship alone can generate approx 5,200 tonnes of sulphur oxide pollution in a year, meaning that 15 of the largest ships now emit as much SOx as the worlds 760 million cars.
- And guess where most of the Soy and Lentils (Lenses) you eat come from?
Yeah, the other side of the planet. - Ruined BY MODERN AGRICULTURE.
- In order to produce food using modern agriculture, you need HUGE AMOUNTS OF OIL. Just to make it, but also to transport it to the other side of the planet, where you live.
- You need NO oil to produce food using permaculture, and NO oil to transport the food to your table.
- Again: You need NO oil to produce food using permaculture, and NO oil to transport the food to your table. ONLY permaculture is a SUSTAINABLE form of food production.
- BTW: Hunting is extremely important to avoid an ecological disaster. The Christians killed all the predators here in Europe (because they were "evil Satanic creatures"), so if we don't kill e.g. deer and wild boars, they will become so numerous that they destroy what is left of our nature.
- Thankfully we still have foxes and some lynxes. If we did not, then we would get a serious mouse and rat problem. PS. House cats kill mainly our native birds, and are themselves an ecological disaster to Europe. Because of their dumb owners letting these immigrants from Africa roam free.
- Vegan modern farmers who own cats are not going to like this video.
- We either get rid of modern agriculture, or modern agriculture will spell our doom. We either reduce our numbers, to a sustainable level, or we all die. Of two evils we must pick the lesser
