I would say that the best advice you will ever get from anybody is settle with less than you dream of. Be satisfied with less than what would be ideal. We have to be happy with less, we have to settle with less. And our purpose, I think, is not to experience the ideal, to live the dream. Our purpose is to ensure that the future generations can.^[1]^[2] We just have to dig ourselves out of this cesspool and settle with less than what we want and what we dream of^[3]^[4]^[5]

Or better: We must accept a sorry fate today, so that we can live "the dream" in future lives. We ARE our ancestors, and we WILL BE our descendants.
Make sacrifices in this life, so that the next lives can be better.
Ideal for YOU? Is it the same as "ideal for THE FUTURE YOU?"
We ARE the descendants of our kin. Physically, via blood, and spiritually, via memory.
