Idiotic yet mandatory "safety features" on cars from 2026.
I drive an UAZ 469 and today I had a technical control. So how do you think that went in 2026? Let's find out.
A modern car is not allowed to have a spare tire like this because if you get hit by something and the tire falls off, people standing nearby are at great risk of having this heavy hard tire hit them. You are not allowed to have door handles like this because little children might get stuck with their rock sacks when you drive past them and you drag them along. So this is illegal too. And speaking of doors, this has a mechanism which is pretty much just like a, an interior door in a house, very illegal for modern cars. Inside it has a full metal dashboard, which is also illegal. Further on, it has a two point seatbelt system, which is also illegal. There are, of course, no rare viewing cameras on this car, which is also illegal. And that little exhaust pipe there goes straight to the engine, which is also illegal. If you take a look at the fender, it is a solid metal fender that will break your knees or thighs when you get hit by it. So that also is very illegal today. It might not come as a huge shock to you when I tell you that it doesn't have airbags, which is also illegal. There are, of course, no ABS brakes on this wonder machine, if you want to keep the lane when you're driving, you have to do it yourself. There is no computer assisting you in that. And for some weird reason, that too, it's illegal.
I could go on listing things that are illegal on cars in 2026, which you can find on this car or that actually you can't find because it's mandatory to have it on the car. But in spite of all of this, what do you think? Do you think it passed technical control? Well, of course it did because the car is from 1988, meaning it is tested according to the standards and rules from 1988. Ergo, all these modern things are irrelevant because the car is not from 2026. And if you want to avoid all these stupid rules for modern cars, you can just buy an old car. And remember, fellow goys, the best safety feature you can have in a vehicle is your own safe driving. Thanks for watching.
