Let's pretend we're on a ship. And the ship is sinking. It might take some time for it to capsize and go down, but it is sinking. So I enter the lounge of the ship. All the people look at me and I say, "The ship is sinking". Some of them are going to check it out and see if the ship is really sinking. And when they find out that it is, they're going to take measures to survive. Most people in the lounge, though, they're just going to look at me and they're going to look at the football match they're watching and they're going to think, "That guy is really annoying. I'm watching football, having a beer, I'm enjoying myself. Why can't you just get the fuck out of here?". Another group is going to become aggressive and tell me to fuck off. "Paranoid piece of shit, get the fuck out of here, dude".
After I have told them that the ship is sinking, I'm not going to waste my time trying to convince the people there that the ship is indeed sinking. I'm just going to say "bye bye", walk out of there. And I'm going to try to help those who either believed in me to begin with, or who tried to check out whether or not I was correct and found out that I was correct. I'm going to spend my time, my effort, my resources on them. Thanks for watching.
