Experience points in Mythic Fantasy Roleplaying Game is handled in a slightly different way than other Roleplaying Games.[1]Normally you get experience points based on the type of creature you kill, but in Mythic Fantasy Roleplaying Game you get experience points for each round you are engaged in combat. So if you fight a creature or a person for one round you get a little experience points, if you fight a monster or a creature or a person for many rounds you get a lot of experience points. So in a sense it's the same because you get more experience points if the opponent is tougher and harder to kill, but instead of getting this kill bonus you get the combat bonus.
You also get experience points for example for travelling, if you spend one day travelling you experience something so you get a little bit of experience points.[2]You get experience points for participating in the high festivals[3]and this is done to illustrate that you reawaken or you remember the memories of previous lives by participating in the things that you participated in previous lives, like the high festivals.[4]
You get experience points for casting spells and this is the same as for combat, you get a certain amount of experience points for each spell cast. All these things that I mentioned earlier you get 50 experience points for each time, so when you're playing you can just put a line on the blackboard for every time somebody gets this experience bonus or for every round the party is engaged in combat. And I do that on a blackboard when I play with my kids. And then you just take the lines and multiply them by 50 at the end so then you have a very easy way to keep track of experience points.
You also get experience points for performing tasks or using your skills and then you get an experience bonus depending on the difficulty of the task you have successfully performed.[5]The experience level is an abstract way to show the character's general competence level and the level is used to modify a number of skills and other factors in the game.
When you gain a level you also have the opportunity to gain training in a new skill that you are untraining or if you are a sorcerer you can learn a new spell.[6]At every odd experience level you can instead gain a new talent, at every even experience level you can instead gain a plus one to an attribute of your choice.
There is no level cap in Mythic Fantasy World Playing Game but at one point it will become rather impossible to gain any more levels.[7]Simply because the experience point you need to gain a new level is the level that you need to gain multiplied by the level you need to gain multiplied by 250.[8]So you have a progressive curve in that context, the higher level you reach the more experience points you need to reach the next level and of course at one point it becomes very very hard to gain a new level. But in theory there is no level cap.
The Myth Master is also encouraged to hand out experience points for positive contributions during the game and also for solving the challenges or problems in the cleverest way possible[9]in order to encourage good behaviour and clever solutions. Thanks for watching, bye bye.

- Yes, I do shine like this normally. It has NOTHING to do with
over-exposure... right? - 1 day travelling = 1 round of combat, in terms of XP
- 1 high festival participation = 1 round of combat, in terms of XP
- Yes. this game is PAGAN to the core.
- Difficulty: Routine = 0 XP Easy = 25 XP, Medium = 50 XP, Hard = 250 XP,
Very Hard = 500 XP, Absurd = 1000XP. - You also gain 1 new "Health Point"
(or 2 if you are a Warrior or Berserk) - You also gain some abilities or special bonuses because of your XP level,
depending on your character role (="class"). - XP needed to gain level = level * level * 250,
So to e. g: gain level 13 you need: 42.250.
But to gain level 10 you only need: 25.000. - And even more for doing it the most Honourable way possible!
(I told you this game is PAGAN to the core)
