About Traditions

Hi, I get many questions regarding traditions and I just wish to say that our traditions is the sum of the knowledge of all our forebears. It's the accumulated knowledge of our forebears. This is what they tried, this is what they found out was the best. To those who question the value of these traditions, I wish to ask you a simple question. Who are you to think that you know better than all our forebears?

E. g. pre-Christian married, betrothed and engaged women all over Europe, all covered their hair, with a net or a scarf.

This European tradition stems from the fact that doing so protects the hair from head lice. Only unmarried women had to risk letting their hair loose in public, in order to attract the attention of men. The other women were only happy not to risk this. Nobody forced anybody to wear a hair net or a head scarf: the women had sense enough to cover their hair of their own free will. They were only happy to do so. In Ancient Egypt they (for the same purpose; to avoid head lice) instead shaved their heads and wore wigs.

We are not in control of the educational system,[1]we are not in control of the press,[2]we are not in control of the printing press, we are not in control of anything related to entertainment today. Others are in control of that. So somebody else[3]is trying to get rid of our traditions for us. They are trying to make us get rid of our traditions. And that's the problem.

The example used here is just one example of our traditions. We have many traditions, and we need to appreciate them, understand them and embrace them all - like we must embrace ourselves and what we are. There is no reason for us to get rid of our traditions. Our traditions are great. They are the sum of the knowledge of our forebears. It's the accumulated knowledge of our forebears. It works. It works for us.

What we need to get rid of is all that mocks, steps on, ridicules, works against or destroys OUR traditions. Things like 'Hollywood', liberalism, feminism, 'multiculturalism', Christianity, Islam and similar. Our traditions stem from our blood, from our culture, from us. From our PAGAN nature. It's an integral part of us. We can't get rid of it. If we do, we lose ourselves.

Hail the European deities!
  1. But we can home-school our children.
  2. But we can get more truthful news and better info from the Internet. For now.
  3. I wonder who those 'somebody else' might be.
