As you might know already, pre-Christian Europe was advanced in all ways. Greek Philosophy: mathematics, physical science, medicine, biology, history. We could build sea-going vessels and navigate the oceans. Our artwork was so fine, some of it can not even be duplicated today.
We had a rich history, and a rich mythology. traditions and rites. Our cultural roots stretched back to the earliest of times. Into the Stone Age. Far into what is today pre-history. It was still history though, in pre-Christian times. They had many records telling the tales of their forebears. In writing, but also in songs and tales, stone and symbols. THOUSANDS of libraries could be found all over civilized Europe, and the lore was stored in the memories of the European 'barbarians' who were still able to memorize it all.
Then came Christianity and sent Europe unto a path to self-destruction. Only architecture survived, because the Christians needed it to build their churches. Christians. Whilst you were busy destroying European art and replacing it with incredibly poor Christian art, burning the THOUSANDS of libraries that existed in pre-Christian Europe, cutting down sacred trees in Europe, Replacing real medicine with "prayer" whilst burning the real doctors alive, murdering "Pagan" Europeans, murdering other Christians (because they had another type of Christianity), the Muslim governments sponsored scholars and raced past Europe in philosophy, astronomy, optics, chemistry, anatomy, medicine and engineering, social sciences, healthcare, education, commerce and travel as well as freedom of expression poetry, art and architecture.
Christianity sent Europe into a Dark Age that lasted a 1000 years, and that almost completely suffocated Europe. In the 12th and 13th century, Europe was like a Christian version of The Islamic State. No intellectual debate was allowed. No art was tolerated, save incredibly poor pro-Christian art intended for Churches. Christianity had reduced Europe to a shadow of its former self. To a Hell on Earth. But then something happened. The East Roman Empire, receiving no help from their "fellow, Christians" elsewhere in Europe, was being gradually defeated by the Muslim Turks, and eventually, Constantinople fell. Old books started to appear in the markets in Italy, and later other European countries, as Greek refugees flooded into Europe.
Europe found back to its own ancient PAGAN philosophy, PAGAN Mythology, PAGAN art, PAGAN medicine etc. Europe returned to LIFE. The European man saw a new Spring, finally, after a 1000-year long Winter. Ironically, had not the Muslim Turks CRUSHED the Byzantine Orthodox Christian Empire, Europe would never have had a Renaissance. So thank you Muslim Turks, for saving Europe from complete intellectual, cultural and spiritual collapse. Some Christians think they saved Europe when they won over you at the gates of Vienna, but in reality they saved Europe when they lost Constantinople to you. Had they lost the gate of Vienna, you would have been thrown out from Vienna too, later on like you were from the rest of Europe. So that really meant nothing.
PS. And remember that Islam is not YOUR religion either. It's "Abrahamic". YOUR religion is Tengrism, a "Pagan" religion very, very similar to our European religion.
