A Curse & a Blessing.
As you probably have figured out by now, A I. Is going to be an absolute disaster for this civilization. People are going to lose their jobs, and those who still have jobs are going to lose their jobs too, because the others who used to purchase their services or products, they will not have any money anymore. So it's going to be a downward going spiral. But you also have to understand that there is a window here. For some time now, you can use AI to make money. And if you do that, you will get on top, so to speak. When everything sinks, you will be the last to sink.
If you take a look at this civilization though, you don't necessarily have to think that this is a bad thing. I mean, where are we going with this civilization? We are not going to the stars, that's for sure. We are going down the drain. So if the European man shows up and creates AI and it's completely destroys the civilization, it's not necessarily a bad thing. And in addition to using AI when we still can, to learn something, to improve your own situation, to learn new skills, to learn languages and everything, you can use it for a whole lot of things. In addition to that, you should, next to that, try to figure out how are you going to make it when everything else breaks down? And how can you survive in this future situation.
And there are some quite obvious, I think, solutions to this, namely, produce your own food. If you don't have to go to a store to buy food, then you don't need money to buy food. And the easiest way to do that is, of course, to have hens. If you have a little property, have hens on the property. And if you start doing that now, even before you really need to, like I have done, you can afford to make mistakes. You can afford to lose some hens, or even all the hens to the fox. And then you can start all over again, doing it better. Because if you start too late, you don't learn what to do in that situation. You don't learn how to protect them from the fox. You don't know, learn what the need is for protection, where you live and so forth.[1]So I suggest start now.
And I think permaculture is great. You can have a permaculture garden and everything, that's fine. But for a true survival situation, I think it's better to learn about what kind of wild plants that you can eat, where you live. And the best way to do that. No, I don't have any books to sell you. No, I don't have any products to sell you. I'm just gonna tell you "Ask AI", because AI knows already. It has access to all the Information that humanity has created already that is online, and it can tell you what is edible, where you live. Use AI to figure it out. So, yes, I think AI is going to be a disaster, but I also think that you should use AI now in this change over period, because if you do, you're gonna get out on top.
So AI is a disaster, but it's also a blessing. And it all depends on how you relate to it. We have an opening now, a window where we can use it. We can learn anything and everything. So if you're smart, use it. And there's no hypocrisy in being aware that it is a problem and using it at the same time, because regardless of whether you use it or not, the ball has started rolling. If you don't use AI, you just gonna be left at the bottom of there or behind in the race. So be my guest, but, if you're smart, use it, learn something.
And to those who say that you get dumb by using AI. Yeah, well, the dumb get dumber by using AI, because they ask the AI to do the job for them. But the smart just get smarter because they ask the AI to help them perform better, and they use AI to learn something. That just elevates them, amplifies their abilities. And this is the case for all tech, really, and life in general. The dumb just gets dumber all the time and the smart just keeps getting smarter. Big divide here. I think that's a good thing.
The future doesn't look bright in a traditional sense. But it never did. The future always was dark and difficult and challenging. And this is what keeps us awake and strong and alive, really. No challenges, you just gonna degenerate to death. That's all I have to say, really. And thank you for your time and untill next time.
