Those Royal Red Haired People.
Blonde jokes is a type of racism, but there is a group here in Europe that is even more exposed to racism. Those with red hair. Where do they really come from? Let's find out.
First of all, I'm going to stress that what I'm going to say in this video is not scientific facts. It's not proven by any means, but it is a hypothesis in relation to the origin of people with red hair.
Some of you probably know that there is a theory that the ancient Egyptians moved to what is today Ireland and the British Isles, and that the red hair has its roots in ancient Egypt. And I wish to elaborate on this theory that I believe is correct, and I want to wish to explain why I think it is correct.
The ancient Egyptians, or rather the ones who built the ancient Egyptian civilization, have been DNA tested and they have found to have a very close connection to so-called Western Europeans. And we have also found mummies of individuals, of royalty of course, with red hair. If you check out the historical sources, you will see that the ancient Egyptian royalty was different from the population at large. Most likely the ancient Egyptian royalty was European by our standards. That would be so-called white. And they ruled over a population of native Egyptians who were not white, who were North Africans, or possibly some sort of admixture between Europeans and Africans.
When you look at the historical records, you will see that the ancient Egyptian royalty after some time had serious problems finding others to marry, because they didn't want to marry the local population, the natives. And therefore after some time they started to marry each other, like family members,[1]even though this is not very wise as we know. And at one point they didn't have others to to marry. And instead of going to the local native population to find someone to marry, they actually tried to marry someone from abroad, because apparently they wanted only to marry someone who looked like themselves.[2]So they even went to their enemies to find mates.
So what I believe happened is that at one point the royalty in ancient Egypt found out that it was not able to continue its existence there, so they moved.[3]And they moved towards a population that was more like themselves, that would be Europe.
So red hair probably originates in ancient Egypt and came about as a mutation in a royal family. And then the royal family, for some reason, possibly because they became so light sensitive, as we know red-haired people are, that they couldn't live there anymore. So they moved and probably they moved to western Europe, that would be mainly the British Isles, where we know there are many red-haired people. What I believe is that if you have red hair you can be certain that you actually descend from the royal family of ancient Egypt.
Now there is another population on this planet with a huge amount of red hair and they also are known to have lived in Egypt and that would be of course the Jews. Jews say themselves that they were the slaves of Egypt and as we know there is often a sexual relation between slave masters and slaves. And this would explain why there is so much red hair in the Jewish population, because they were mixed with the royal family of ancient Egypt. I may add in relation to the term mutation, that mutations are pretty common in nature and it's not necessarily a bad thing. So even though I call red hair a mutation, I don't mean that as if it's a bad thing. That's just something that happens in nature every now and then.
If this theory or hypothesis rather is correct, it would of course mean that no, the red hair did not originate when Neanderthals mixed with Africans in the distant past. The more you read about Ancient Egypt, the more support you will find for this hypothesis, and also for the theory regarding eye colour (see my "About Eyes & Ice" video).
