Character murder is very common in the mainstream media. I know that because I have been exposed to it for a very long time, for several decades actually. Especially in the Norwegian mainstream media, but also in the music press worldwide. I have also been exposed to character murder in the alt-right movement and in the RPG community. So, it's a very, very real thing and whenever I hear something bad about a person, I keep this in mind. Maybe somebody is trying to character murder that person.
Take everything you hear about others with a pinch of salt and do some research on your own before you swallow the bait so to speak. Be honest and be just and at least don't contribute to spreading rumors that have been created as part of a character murder. That's it really. Thanks for watching.
I am convinced that A LOT of the historical person we learn about have been thoroughly character murdered. From Emperor Nero to King Louis XIV to more modern characters. Everyone has an agenda, especially those who dictate what shall be recorded in our history books.
Keep this in mind, even when the victim is someone you don't like.
