The IDIOT's Guide to VRs.
I don't very often respond to video responses to my channel. Why not? Let's find out.
I make videos and sometimes people respond to my videos. And I don't bother responding to them always. And the reason for this is that, first of all, the motive these guys have for making video responses to me is not to actually respond to something I say. The purpose is obviously to promote their own channel and to promote something they do, like make their music or whatever. They don't have an honest interest in discussion. YT is so aware of the problem with false VRs, that they removed a feature where you could make VRs to videos, and have them appear in the video description automatically.
The other reason why I don't reply to video responses from people is that they often just misrepresent what I have said. They're not responding to something I said, they're responding to something they thought I said. I'll give you an example. If you, for example, make a video claiming that I say that people with black hair are Africans. I never said that. Why would I bother responding to such a crap video? I said that people with black hair have their black hair from non-European genes. It doesn't mean they're not Europeans. It means that they have some non-European DNA. We all do, you know. And in those people, the black hair is from that DNA. I never said they weren't Europeans. E. g. on average, Norwegians have 0.08% East Mediterranean and 2.24% West Asian progenitors. E. g. on average, the Irish have 1.25% East Mediterranean and 3.34% West Asian progenitors. E. g. on average, Greeks have 23.47% East Mediterranean and 12.72% West Asian progenitors. E.g. on average, Italians have 25.05% East Mediterranean and 16.14% West Asian progenitors. If you want a response from me when you make a video response, then

- a) first of all, your motive must be a wish to have a dialogue, not a wish to promote your channel or anything else.
- b) you must be responding to something I actually said. Not something you make up or something you misunderstand.
- I'll add a little c) here. You see, don't block me from commenting on your video response.
