Muh Environmentalism RANT
It's a countdown for a self-destruct mechanism I think. Am I worried? Let's find out. I made it.

So I'm driving my car here in the countryside of France. People call me a hypocrite for it. "Why aren't you walking, dude? If you're gonna be so environmentally friendly, why aren't you leaving the car and taking the bike or using your legs, dude?"

Well, ladies and gentlemen, I'm going to take my time and tell you what I don't do. I don't burn the leaves in my garden. Burning one single little pile of leaves, pollutes more that you do with your car in a year. I don't go on holiday to behave like an idiot in southern Europe once or twice a year. You pollute more with one single trip to Spain or Greece or whatever, that you do in a year driving your car. I don't use nuclear power to power my computer. We produce our own electricity, and thus contribute very little to this, "the inheritance left to the future generations" by the Baby Boomers. I don't flush my crap into the drinking water or the sea. This is absolute idiocy. Using a dry toilet and then fertilizing your own property is not idiocy. I pay great attention to where the stuff I buy comes from. And if it comes from the other side of the planet, I try to find alternatives and perhaps even not buy it at all. I try to buy as much of the food that I need to buy from local producers.

The 16 biggest ships like this pollute more than all cars in the world do put together. And there are a lot more than those 16, so to speak

And perhaps not least, I plant trees. Not every now and then, not even by the dozens, but by the hundreds.

The reason why they some years ago claimed that "diesel cars are not that polluting as petrol cars" was because they had an overproduction of diesel.[1]So they wanted people to buy diesel cars. And they were highly successful. A lot of people did. The problem though with that was that too many did. And now all of a sudden I'm pretty sure that the reason why they have increased the taxes for diesel here in France is because they were too successful. Now too many have diesel cars. And they have an overproduction of petrol.

What is environmentalism really all about?
This whole environmental discussion is an absolute hoax. It's all about money and it's all about politicians telling us lies. Even when they didn't really need to lie to us, they still tell us lies. And only lies because they're so used to it. It's hard not to when you do it all the time. I can add at the end here that the reason why I'm not driving an electric car or a hybrid car is because they are extremely polluting. And a lot more than gasoline or diesel cars. To produce such cars you need to produce a heap load of nuclear waste. And to produce the electricity for them you need nuclear power, so you produce more nuclear waste. So electric cars, that's not about environmentalism. That's probably related to the fact that we're running out of oil and those in power want the ordinary dumb citizen not to use that much oil so that they can keep using their oil for their jet fighters and tanks and jeeps and you name it. Police force at least because that's what keeps them in power.

Why am I not buying a new car at least? One that pollutes a bit less. I'm not because reusing old stuff is the way to go. When you make a new car you pollute a lot just by making the car. So I'm not going to do that. My cars were made in the Soviet Union where they (because of a lack of raw materials) made everything to last forever. Or before planned obsolescence. When "German Quality" still meant something. Or in Russia. Where they still produce the Soviet cars (designed to last forever). If you want to stop polluting I also strongly advise you to stop all immigration to first world countries because in first world countries we pollute a lot more. And if we take those third worlders up here they're going to pollute as well. Just as much as we do. Not very smart.

"We can save the world by taking all the Africans up here and give them polluting cars as well and make them crap into our drinking water as well. That's the way to go dude!"

The way I make my books is also the most environmentally friendly there is: They are printed fairly near where the customer is. They are not flown across the great pond or printed in China (unless you live in China and buy it there, then they are).
  1. They say the opposite today.
