About Hamingja
If I recall correctly, I have already made a video about Hamingja, about the concept of luck and honour. And this is interesting, because in modern Icelandic I think it [Hamingja] means simply luck. But the original meaning is from the proto-nordic *hama-gange, which means to walk in shapes. And it became a word to describe honour, because those who have honour, they walk in shapes. There is no death for the honourable, just a change of bodies, so they walk in different shapes.[1]

This Hamingja can build up to become so strong that you become extremely successful in life. That you sort of have what Christians would call a guardian angel, watching over you and ensuring that you are lucky in life.[2]Your Hamingja, that is your luck, is fueled not only by your actions, but also by your thoughts. You can increase it by your mere thoughts, if they are noble, honest, just, etc.

When the Golden One rightly speaks about physical prowess, about the importance of being strong and fit, which I agree with by the way, I think it is equally important or even more important to be spiritually strong and fit. And to constantly fuel your Hamingja, to always seek the betterment of your luck, to always seek the strengthening of the good in you. And I am not saying that from a good versus evil perspective, I am saying that from a natural perspective.[3]

When your Hamingja is strong, you will in life experience good luck. You will experience that even the bad luck in your life is just a foothold for greater luck.
