Interview with my Gen A daughter Part 2
- Okay, what about friends? Do you miss having a ton of stupid girlfriends that you can gossip with?
- You're mean. Yeah, of course!
- You miss it?
- Yeah
- But do you have any friends?
- I have one friend
- The neighbour girl?
- Yes.
- But you have the pen pals, right?
- Yes, I do have a lot of them.
- Why?
- Because... I started penpalling I think when I was 9 because I didn't have friends. I have a lot of pen pals.
- You have the Norwegian ones?
- Yes
- Russian ones.
- Chinese?
- Yeah, Chinese. I have kind of everything (?).[1]
- So you're writing... that's online, right?
- Yes.
- Not actual letters.
- What? Uh, yes, letters too, yeah.
- Oh, you use snail mail
- Yes, not always everyone, but I have one from America, like USA. I do write letters with most of them.
- Okay.
- But usually we use a lot of time before we write letters because... yeah.(?)
- Yeah. So you missed out on the...
- It's called snaaail mail.
- Didn't I say snail mail?
- Yes, but it's called snaaaail mail because it's slow.
- Very slooow.
- Yeah. I really like watching videos of people reacting to music that was popular for example, in 2025. And also they make videos of just slops in 2025 where people just made trash. And that became popular, which Is crazy because it's just trash.
- Yeah but the music industry today, you have to understand, that this is an artificial industry. They take artists and they promote them heavily and if they keep repeating their human slop on the radio, then people get accustomed to it, they start to associate positive memories from their lives with it, or sad memories, and then they start to like it. And that's how they push garbage like hip hop and the rap music and most pop music. It's just pushed by the industry and most people don't think about it so they get used to it and start listening to it.
- Yeah, especially not only that but also the Grammy Awards and stuff. A lot of people talk about it, but actually they just give it to people which they want to be popular. Another artist was much more liked that year but didn't get anything.
- Some bands even have music made by a third party and then they have picked out some artists that they want to promote who have no talent, they cannot even sing but they want them to be artists or to be popular. So it's an artificial industry, completely artificial. And this is why we see all these gay artists and "coloured artists" and such. Because they have been handpicked by the industry because they want to promote that. Okay. About the chess thing. So you're playing chess online?
- Yes.
- And you just play chess on the board with your brother.
- Yep.
- And you do this a lot.
- Yes, every single day. Every single time. All the day long. - That's true.
- That's my main hobby. But yes, I just love chess and it's very cool.
- I find it a little bit geeky and I play "War in Flames"
- Yes, he plays a lot of weird board games. I play chess.
- It's not a weird board game. This is the best board game ever.
- It's like the most complicated thing ever.
- It's kind of true, but it's great fun.
- It's... all of those tiny pieces. I would never enjoy playing that.
- The main problem is that it takes up a whole lot of space and you need at least 200 hours to finish one game. So it's different from chess in that respect. You can not play it like chess.
- Yeah, I play a lot of chess and that's the best thing ever.
- Okay. I think your English is pretty good. I know your French is good and your Norwegian. But one of the things that I find a little bit funny as a Norwegian is that if I jokingly talk Norwegian with another dialect. You don't understand anything.
- Heh? I do understand everything! Okay, not all the times.
- Uh huh.
- I do understand, I try.
- If I say [nor. standard dialect; I don't like guys who steal]. You understand it, right? - Of course.
- But if I say [nor. Trøndelag dialect; I don't like guys who steal] - [nor. I understand]
- She only understands because I already explained the meaning.
- No, I did understand it actually.
- [nor. Trøndelag dialect; I don't like guys who steal]. It's not the same.
- The "karra" (?) thing, I don't think I would have understood that, but I understood all the rest of it.[2]
- [nor. Trøndelag dialect; I don't like guys who steal]. But generally speaking... and Swedish, Danish, you don't understand that that well because in Norway we grow up with Swedish TV because the Norwegian TV sucks. So we just use Swedish TV and import a lot of programmes from there. So we are used to Swedish [swed. (?)] and so forth. Great stuff. And we learn Swedish naturally from looking at it and from hearing it.[3]But you didn't grow up with that. Okay, let's do something different. Do you play any instruments?
- Hmm. I wouldn't say that I play an instrument, but I'm learning the guitar and the piano.
- Ah the piano
- Yes on the iPad. and on the mini-baby pianos.
- So do you believe in "Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour"?
- No.
- Okay. What do you believe in?
- I believe in reincarnation. I mean, I think at least I do.
- Well from a biological point of view reincarnation is real. The DNA of your forebears is what you have.
- Yes.
- So if that is like the hardware of a computer and your soul is the software, then it would be compatible.
- Yeah
- And what do you mean by you believe in reincarnation? How exactly do you believe? - I don't have a very deep like thought of that, but I think that when I die I would be one of my grand-grand-grand-grand-grandchildren. I just think that.
- Any last words for the interview?
- No, not really.
- Not really?
- I don't have nothing to say.
- Okay. If you like this video, subscribe. But if you don't like this video, don't subscribe...
- Like the video
- ...you're gonna get more of this probably sometime.
- If you have nothing sensible to say, don't leave a comment.
- Yes, don't be stupid.
- But if you want to boost the algorithms, just say "hi" or something and it'll help promote the video...
- Yes.
- ... I think.. somehow.
- Nothing in Africa.
- Norse: Karl ("Free Commoner").
- We don't have a TV.
